NOS Hardtop to body seal aluminum trim?

#1 Post by Larry Brooks »

I bought these several years ago at a local swap meet. They were represented as the trim that fits into the seal between the top and the car. I compared them to the ones in my hardtop when I bought them and they looked right. I can't find the part number listed on the tag anywhere. It is NLA 563 915 00. A couple people on this forum were interested in this set a few years ago, but I misplaced them so I didn't pursue the sale. I just sold my 356 Cabriolet and found these on a shelf with parts that were going with the car.

Can anyone confirm this part number?

Larry: substitute NLA with 644. "915" is the left side, "916" the right and "921" would be the connector piece.

THANK YOU!
I can see that both sides are there, now I just need to go to my storage and see if the center piece is under the tag.

By the way, different part numbers for the windshield trim connecting pieces but one might be adaptable.

Mike
Just picked it up at my storage unit. It has both sides AND the center piece.

Thanks again!

Excellent, Larry! Hopefully the new owner of your cab has better luck fitting it to the top. It is one royal PITA!

All the best,

Mike
