I believe I'd have spent the money a bit differently.
"When our customer received this car it had a Sunroof which obviously an "Outlaw" wouldn't have. The car was sent to J3 Restorations in Tennessee and a solid top was fabricated onto the body. The workmanship is excellent."

"Slicktop" is the new rage. The hardcore 911 guy's are deleting sunroof's or paying a premium for sunroof delete cars.
My guess would be whoever was commissioning this build was of a later Porsche generation. Lots of new buyers getting into 356's so many of the norms are changing. I'm getting requests I've never had before. Things like sunroofs that used to command a premium are not bringing out the $$$ like before.
