Eric, From your parts illustration you first posted, everything you see is available and in stock at Stoddard NLA. Some parts are reproductions, some from Porsche. And, virtually everything is also quite plentiful as used parts on Ebay and several sources in the US and UK..

As for the thermostat (not in your illustration), a good, but expensive, reproduction is in stock -- see http://www.nlaparts.com/store/preheat-t ... 18254.html

Do you guys know why there is a "Crook" in the rod just in front of the shroud ??? ................Jim.

I think it was to clear the throttle cross arm in one of the older cars, Jim.
Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.....

Actually the opposite. When the bellows reach a certain temperature they close the flaps so that hot air no longer is directed at the carb\s. The setup is to assist the carbs when cold.
