Hey everyone, here is a new one, at least for me.
Alu-Lochscheibenrader
I know Lochscheibenrader is wheel, but alu would be aluminum?

Re: Kardex Mysterie
That's what I thought, but it's a 68 912, so I'm also being told that since FUCHs were an option on the 912 they were listed this way on the Kardex, rather than the later way of calling them Alufelge.Joris Koning wrote:steel/alloy wheels. Now show us the rest of the Kardex

Re: Kardex Mysterie
Alu-Lochscheibenrad translates to "aluminum wheel with holes". The German does not specify the shape of the hole.
Scheibenrad = wheel
Lochscheibenrad = wheel with holes
Many cars with optional fuchs wheels had this wording on their option list. Fuchs translates to Fox, hence the fox head.

Adam
I have all the factory paperwork from my uncles early 67 912 targa but not the Kardex. In a check list the factory used the following for the Fuchs. Similar but not identical but yours clearly indicates Fuchs.
