I realize that the Talbot Berlin mirror wasn't necessarily "standard issue" on the 356 T5 cars. However, in some of the original literature/pictures I've seen (and possess), they are shown mounted on the car. In official Porsche marketing materials. Further, in some of those pictures, the 'green dot' variant is shown, which I thought came along later. I have always been of the opinion that a 'period correct' Talbot Berlin mirror for a 1960-61 Porsche 356 would be a 'no green dot' variant, with "Berlin" stamped, not "W Berlin".
Anyone know the real skinny?

110 reads and not one opinion or point of view? This is making me feel better about my lack of knowledge ha ha…

I am a newbie in the 356 world but my 61 T5 which is mostly original has this mirror, for what that's worth.

My previous reply was a bit unclear. My Talbot mirror looks like the one in the literature but says Talbot &Co. Berlin, no green dot that I can see. Mine is driver's side only
