Directional Flasher
I have J.F.'s bright SMD directional lights mounted and, of course, the dash light doesn't blink as advertised. Is there a 6v. flasher unit available to make the dash light blink or at least make a loud click so I might hear it and turn off the signals? The wand doesn't always return to neutral and shut them off when making casual lane changes or slightly turning at a fork. Ergo, I look like the geezer I am cruising down the highway with his blinker on. I think I saw a thread about the Subject awhile back but can't find it. Thanks.

Re: Directional Flasher
You need this for $31.95. I have their earlier style electronic flasher in both C coupes because I have all LED lighting for signal lights.
These make a fairly loud clicking sound.

Thanks, Dave. Loud click is good. Does it also light up the dash blinker with your LEDs flashing?

Hello Paul,
I did a write-up with photos after I installed mine. Here's a link.

Mine's still working perfectly, 9 years later.

Yes, it lights up the dash arrow when LEDs are flashing.PaulAhnell wrote:Thanks, Dave. Loud click is good. Does it also light up the dash blinker with your LEDs flashing?

Re: Directional Flasher
I bought an electronic flasher from Sierra Madre. Plugged right in without a separate ground. Loud click.: Was: $34.81
Now: $29.58
Part Number: SMC.613.342.00
I have regular bulbs in the front and red led bulbs in the rear.

Re: Directional Flasher
Mark, thanks for that info but I already ordered one from Zim's. Appears to be a quality product with good reviews but the shipping charge is outrageous IMHO. Item costs $31, weight is 0.14 # (2 1/4 oz.), shipping charge is $22 for UPS ground from TX to CT. Total cost is $54.29. Yikes! Could ship USPS for <$10 insured 2-3 day mail in my experience.
