I have reproductions in my car currently, but am thinking of tackling the restoration of the originals myself.
I have done some reading of prior Forum threads, but never seemed to fully find an answer on what type of foam worked best after opening up the vinyl. The instructions on slicing and sealing with Super Glue made perfect sense and I feel I have the patience to give it a go. The exterior needs a good cleaning. I may decide to dye with SEM if some stains won't come off.
Also does anyone know the exact measurement of the vanity mirror? Mine was busted out years ago.
Thanks in advance

The dimension of the mirror is not critical as its edges don't show, it is a little bigger than the hole in the covering.
