I expected to see VW pedals below, but I see it's real.

Apparently, it's on a shortened 911.

From the ad,
"Body is sitting on a shortened 1977 911S Chassis/pan, Webers, 2.7 911S motor and 5 speed transmission, 911 brakes and suspension all around.

I see the windshield frame center tie-down rod, but no link. Betting it has no top.

If I had to guess I would say it's probably one of the bikini style tops, rain off only.

If the CMC lineage is to be believed this was probably a prototype that never went into production.
