Best Hood Seal for T6

I know this topic has been covered extensively in the past, mostly from 2014 and earlier, but I also know that manufacturing may have changed so I would appreciate current opinions on the best fitting hood seal for a T6. 10 years back I purchased mine from IM but it has always been too thick, leaving the front lip noticeably proud of the body. I have removed it for a repaint and would like to find a better fitting one, if possible. Previous threads have stated Tim Goodrich's is "best" (is it still available?), SMC is "softest", IM and Stoddard closest to original. Zims says "new version, fits better". Any suggestions?

Tim's seal is the best. Sadly Tim passed very recently. I do not know if Diane will continue to sell the seals. I will ask her in time.

AASE sells two, one advertised as "New, Correct Thin". Has anyone tried it?

Seconded! The seal on my '64 seems to have the same problems with front hood fitment due to the seal.

For reference, AASE responded to me that the compressed profile for their "thinner" Jorg seal is about 4.445mm and their thicker IM version, which I have, is about 4.953mm.

After seeing the Tim Goodrich ad in the current Registry magazine, I emailed murphyfolks@frontier.com and received a prompt reply from Diane who is shipping my hood seal tomorrow.
