Disc Caliper Bridge Pipe Line
I am replacing all the brake lines on my 1964 C. I have been able to purchase the rear caliper bridge pipe lines, but can't find a source to the front bridge lines. Can anyone please tell me if the rear bridge line can be also used on the front calipers? Or better yet, suggest a vendor that might have them in stock?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Stoddard or NLA has 'em.

Re: Disc Caliper Bridge Pipe Line
Stoddard NLA, LLC used to have the front bridge pipe but it's been out of stock for a few months. It's being worked on as we speak.
Some people say a rear one can be bent to fit. Anybody know that to be sure?

Yes, a rear bridge pipe can be carefully re-shaped to fit the front caliper(s).

Re: Disc Caliper Bridge Pipe Line
Thanks everyone. I have tried NLA, Stoddard, Pelican, Sierra Madre and Zims, but nothing in stock. I also looked at the PBM site, but didn't find any hard lines for a 356 there. I will try to reshape a rear set to see if I can fit them to the front calipers.
Any suggestions on bending one of these without kinking it?

Give PMB a call, I know you visited the site, but sometimes they have parts that are not shown in the site.
You can try this tool from Harbor Freight, it worked for me for other brake lines, no kinks. The problem with the lines you are trying to fabricate is that the ends are to close to the bend making the bend very difficult.

Re: Disc Caliper Bridge Pipe Line
I think it is possible to slightly modify the rear line to fit the front caliper.
I measured the two lines and seem to be the same width.
If you do not find the front bridge line , try to fit the rear line to the front line, I think it is possible.

The last time I priced them, there was a difference; just like the anchor pins for the 912s altho the rears are the same as 356s.

Forgot to mention, no bridge pipe on 911 front calipers.

Re: Disc Caliper Bridge Pipe Line
Thanks again. I did purchase an extra set of rear lines in case I needed to try a front caliper installation.
Hugo, thanks for the tip on the Harbor Freight tube bending tool. I picked one up yesterday and will use it on the end of the tunnel line.

You don't need any tools to use a rear pipe on a front or visa versa.
They are very soft and just need a small amount of pressure to bend by hand to fit.
I do this all the time. PMB should be everybodies go to place for anything brake
Related on your Porsche.

There you go Rick. The Master has spoken-probably before he left for the golf course as he is now retired.

Thanks Jim, I will use rear bridge pipes on the front. Also, thanks for all the parts you have supplied me over the years, and advice to go along with it. Happy retirement!
