Re: Original floor
So, you end up spending six figures on a B coupe? I dunno, I'd be afraid to drive a car that cost me that much. I have one B that I did everything on which I guess would not pass muster with the "do right" crowd, but at least my wife is not embarrassed to drive in it, and then I have the ratty, ugly tatty but mechanically strong pile of a B that does embarrass my wife but I love. I driv rnoth cars once a week to work, 90 miles RT. Funny to think the ratty one is worth almost as much if not more than the restored car!

Could it be that P.T. Barnum said it best? "There's a sucker born every minute"

Every 356 for sale these days is a "rare opportunity". How could you go wrong?MICHAEL FOSTER wrote:Could it be that P.T. Barnum said it best? "There's a sucker born every minute"

Re: Original floor
Having played with old sports cars since my late teens I realized there are different types of owners. One set tends to want nice clean cars and the other set sees a basket case and know they can rescue it.Both types love and enjoy their rides.
