The Donjer kit is cheap and easy. They have a dark gray that works well. Do the paper-mache "bodywork" to repair your glove box then paint it dark gray inside. You can then cover with contact cement or Donjer's adhesive. The little push-tube applicator works fine for the fibers, and a few ounces will be plenty. Don't buy he pound bag, it's a lifetime supply.

The original flock in the B/C boxes was more of a "tweed" color with a combination of gray, green, brown, and maybe a couple of other colors. If you look at the lip of the glove box, you should find some original material which usually has held up well over the years. If you look at it in the sunlight, you will appreciate the multicolor fibers. I try to mix large (2-3 lb. batches) at a time and attempt to match the flock to the original before I strip it off the boxes.

That said, dark gray works well for most people, as Gordon suggests.
