Guide tube for trunk release cable

My '62B T6 is missing the guide tube, attached to the left inner wheel well, that the hood release cable runs through. Does someone have a photo of this tube in place and dimensions, i.d, o.d. and length?

On my 65 C the tube measures 3 inches in the cockpit from firewall to end. Welded at firewall. In trunk from firewall it follows along inner fender then curves. Again spot welded to remain in place. After curve towards hood receiver it then is free in the air and no longer attached to the body. This happens about where lateral wall of battery box is. My tube measures 8.5mm OD. I was unable to measure ID. Total length in the trunk from firewall to terminus was about 53 inches.

Great! Thanks Doug. That matches the length of tube Gary at Parts Obsolete sent me.

Your C latch is different from my B but the terminus is probably similar. Can you tell me the approximate distance from the end of the tube to where the wire attaches to the latch? I'm guessing maybe a couple of inches?

Ok - I'll try to leave just enough space so that the latch arm doesn't contact the tube when the arm is fully retracted to release the hood.
