Re: Cool LED Marchal Fog Lights
Nice, I wonder if they get hot. LEDs are really big now, truck light bars ect.
I have a friend designing them for squid boats. The problem is dispersing the heat.
Bought some old Marchal headlights yesterday at a estate sale 2 for $10. Same as these below.

Do guys run them on 356's ? Ever see them come in on 356's Adam ?
Had them on my VW bus around 1980. Illegal in the US ?

Re: Cool LED Marchal Fog Lights
Love Marchal's, not sure I like the Fly Eye look though.
As far as the ebay add above I've seen a lot of the original headlights that are sealed beam unit type buckets use these as an alternative to an actual US spec sealed beam bulb. So you have the best of old world European bulb type H4 headlight in a sealed beam look.
I used to think they were not very common on US 356's. My C car has them but I started seeing more and more cars with them. My A car has them as well. Both I switched out for true Euro reflector units but they would be great if you want the grille look!
