#1 Post by Michael Lasky »

Need to replace sun visors on a 65 SC Cab, and have experienced breaking the screws during removal....any tips to remove?

Be gentle. Try wiggling them back and forth with light, then increasing pressure. If you can get it to wiggle you can usually tease it out with increasing pressure and more wiggling.
Good luck.

If you can keep it off the visor, a squirt of Kroil oil allowed to penetrate overnight will free up many fasteners.

cut an old screwdriver off and use it as a punch lightly tap the screw with the cut off driver. you can do this with the penetrating oil for good results.
