Dual Valve Springs for S90 head
Were can I source dual valve springs, retainers, keepers etc for my S90 heads?
My heads are currently out for repair an I noticed the aluminum retainers are worn out so I thought I's replace the springs, retainers keepers etc

Aluminum retainers and dual springs are not original. Its probably best to go back to stock parts unless you have some wild cam in it.

Understood. I have read in numerous places the if you rev the engine high (5,000 + rpm), dual valve springs help with valve float

Stock springs are enough for what the stock cam is capable of, and not too hard on the cam and lifters. What cam will you use? If it is not stock the cam provider can tell you what works best.

All are listed in Stoddard's, NLA, Sierrra Madre & other websites.

Stoddard et. al. only have single valve springs, not dual (unless I'm missing something)

S-90 only came with single, and not with aluminum retainers.

I have run Elgin and NeuTec 280* - 290* cams well over 6500 RPM with no valve float. How radical are you going???

Re: Dual Valve Springs for S90 head
With the factory dual springs and steel retainers, my valves would beat the seats out of my early heads. I switched to single springs, and the problem ceased.

All,
I made a mistake of not listing Zim's having parts availability to solve the valve spring question and other situations.
I must've been interrupted w/a phone call while 'fingering' the computer.
(Sorry Al)
