57 sunroof?

There is the number 57 stamped on my sunroof. Plus, it doesn't quite fit right at the back corners. The sunroof opening has more rounded corners but the lid itself is a bit more squared off. so, does that mean i have a 1957 lid installed in my 1964 car? Here is a pic of the lid.

what are the last 2 digits of your car's VIN? and is it a manual or a power sunroof?

Hi Greg,

Those stamped numbers are the last 2 numbers of the VIN from the car that originally had that sunroof panel. Your photo does not show the whole panel, but it appears to be from a manual sunroof.

That picture is a manual sunroof near the front center of the panel. Quite surprised it would even fit in a C car. Everything is different in the electric setup (channels, cable etc). Somebody went through a lot of trouble if that is what they did. Hope they did ruin the shell structure in doing it.
