I think that are top pivot bolts, and the fiber washer should go in the center.

I have owned my Speedster for 42 years but have not had the convertible top on it for the last 30. Sunny day car, who needs a top? Over the years I have gotten wet a few times but I've always dried out. While at the Lit Meet on Sat I saw these very bolts on sale and grabbed a set. I figure that the next custodian will probably want to put the top on it at some point and I better give him the proper bolts. Years ago I just grabbed a 13mm bolt when needed and it seemed to work fine. Attached is a photo of the drawing of how they mount. I wish that I could tell you who I bought them from but I'm old and I didn't think I'd need to know so I didn't put that info in the file (I'm running out of files). Maybe he'll speak up. it's a great item that all Speedster owners should have. KTF

I picked up a set as well... and I trust Pete. I'm looking for feedback. no one I spoke to @ the Lit. Meet or swap had ever seen nor heard of these.

I don't want to spoil the party but the bolts that came on my Speedster when I got it in '66 had and still has chrome plated round headed bolts with a wide slot for a large screw driver. Does anyone else have such chrome plated round headed bolts holding their Speedster top on?

Can a "Speedster Expert" confirm that the bolts/washers in above photo are correct? that is, you've found such on an untouched car.

Anyone have a photo of the nut welded in the body into which the above bolt goes?
