Daily Digest now spam?

#1 Post by Wil Mittelbach »

For the past week the Registry's Daily Digest no longer shows in my Inbox, and is now entered as Spam where I retrieve it. Wonder why the change, and if others may have had the same occurrence??

Wil, the mysteries of web filtering remain...........mysterious.
The Pre Mat web site once became 'poison' since it was on a server which did host (some Russkis?). Regardless, the Pre Mat site got blacklisted, and boy was THAT fun!
But my email provider will also change what goes in the spam basket seemingly at random, so it may be on the receiving end.
If you check the spam folder now and then and correct what you want there, it tends to straighten things out.

Isn't there a way to make a sender OK explicitly? Don't know what operating system you are using, but usually you right-click or there is a menu option somewhere.

Edwin,
I'd forgotten that feature; it's "White Listing" an incoming source, for obvious reasons. It's in the "Settings" menu on my email hole page.

Wil - there is usually a choice to indicate that an email in your spam folder is not spam, but it is entirely dependent on your system and email provider. A selection may simply say "Not SPAM"

With thanks to Greg -
By clicking on a Spam post, and then simply clicking on "Not Spam" in the above margin of action choices, it will transfer to the Inbox and presumably also appear there in future posts.

Thanks, Will. In my email provider, that's "white-listing" a sender. Glad it's good.
