Looking for information on 82797

#1 Post by Mark Spiegel »

Hi all,

I'm looking for any history you may have on 82797.

This is, originally, a white '56 Speedster that is titled as a '57.

It spent time in Arkansas many years ago.

At some point, it was painted red and got coupe seats (not listed on the COA).

It had a radio station sticker in the corner of the windshield.

Upon paint removal, it's clear it was hit in the back.

Tranny disassembly shows a 12 bolt carrier.

Engine disassembly shows a big bore kit.

At some point, someone cut a hole in the sheet-metal of the backseat area to gain access to the starter.

The car came to me without bumpers; just nerf bars.

If any of this "rings a bell" and you know where my car may have been in the past, please reply to me at marks356@yahoo.com.

Thanks,
Mark
