Deck Lid identification help
I have these two deck lids. I know the red one is off a coupe, I just don't know how to differentiate a speedster lid from a cab (the black one). I'm new to the registry and was wondering if anyone could help me identify year/model. Thank You!

Re: Deck Lid identification help
Louis, The easiest way to identify them is by looking at the back where the hinge mounts. The Speedster, D, roadster, and cab single grills all have two bars that the hinges mount too. Maybe you could take a picture of the back sides to show others what I'm talking about. The T-6 roadsters and cabs with twin grills have different hinge mounts from the coupes as well.

Re: Deck Lid identification help
I think i misread original question. I though he wanted to know what the black lid was correct for not what it would fit. I think some time in 59 they changed the mounting grill screw location and all the roadsters ive seen have the later hole location. here are a few pictures the early lid has a 1 1/2 inch layout an the later lid 3 inch layout. the yellow lid came off a D and the green lid came off a 58 speedster. yes they will most open cars , i know you can put your black lid in on a C cab also. i have all three lid in my shop if you need more pictures.
