Bill, I have no clue as to the quality of these cars, but I suspect they are not #1. .................Jim.

Re: Scottsdale auctions
Thanks for posting! The ‘53 supercharged cab at Bonhams looks like a pretty fun car. The sales price is shown as amended though. Any idea what that means?

Ive been down with a cold for two days so been watching a lot of Barret Jackson. 356s seem cheap now compared to the price of ugly, customized, early Corvettes.

Re: Scottsdale auctions
Vic, did you see a white single grill Super 90 Roadster at Bonham's? Looks like it did not bring a good price for the condition.

Re: Scottsdale auctions
The single grill roadster brought $155K, the twin-grill only got to $150K.
Both beautiful cars, stupidly undervalued for an engine number "infraction". Both replacement engines were totally correct.

Non-matching cars are not "investment grade". And that is the crowd driving prices.Vic Skirmants wrote:The single grill roadster brought $155K, the twin-grill only got to $150K.
