I saw one on a ‘59.
It goes to 8,000 rpm so I assume it’s a Carerra.
However, it has no hundreds ticks just thousands until 4,000 rpm.
Stranger to me, the red line starts at 7,000 and ends at 7,500. Which isn’t like other Carerra tachs I have seen.
Is there a difference between GS and GT tachs in 1959?
There were also 1600cc plain bearing and roller bearing engines too.
Any thoughts?
What type of tachometer is this?

Thanks Spencer. But the lack of hundred rpm markers before 4,000 and the deadline zone of 7,000 to 7,500 make it different than those described.

Most Carerra tacos I have seen had the red lined area start at 6,000 and end at 7,500. Has anyone ver seen 7,000 to 7,500?
