Had the C tuned by Pacific Motors (occupying the former Stable location in San Francisco).
This car has the twin-plug hot-rod engine, so they had to either ask or figure things out (they did both). They also spotted, called for approval, and replaced the axle boots and the outside trans shifter boot. Well, I had to agree; they hadn't been replaced in the 12 years I've owned the thing.
George is there; Alan hired George for his skills, gave him as good a background in 356 stuff as you can get.
Recommended. And no, they haven't bought one bit of Pre Mat stuff, dammit!

+1 for Pacific Motors. My car is running better than it has in a long time. They are very experienced with these cars. George has been working on my car off and on for 20 years. I would feel confident driving across country after the last bunch of work they did. They have a tendency to just start fixing everything they see that is not working. If this is a concern just be sure to have them contact you before they start any on unauthorized work. J
