Anyone have one of these?, confirm use please.

Stoddard sells this set for generator etc connections.
Please see my picture of loose electrical tape on left.
Is the lower left flat rubber cover Stoddard sells the right part to be using here?
Anyone have this single part or know where I can get it without buying the whole set?

Steve: The generator ground wire should be neatly soldered to the ring connector. I slide a piece of shrink wrap onto the wire before soldering, then keep it out of the hot area until after the joint has cooled. Then bring it over onto the joint, and heat it with a heat gun until it shrinks neatly onto the connection. No electric tape needed.

Thanks for that Erik.
The electrical tape is loosely over exposed wire as plastic cover was torn away.
I thought it should have a rubber boot cover like Stoddard sells perhaps but the hole at the end of the Stoddard piece looks too small.
I will look at over 356 cars to see what there using.
P.S. running a 912 (SC) motor.

Steve

The ground wire does NOT get a boot.
