I saw this picture today of renowned restorer Victor Mile's house and it kind of made it real, knowing someone in the path. I hope he and everyone else in California are ok.

It sucks having to evacuate but firefighters have enough on their plate without having to baby sit homeowners who stay to save their home utilizing a “garden hose”. Grab your wallet, a six pack of beer and get in your car and get the hell out of the path of that fire.
