64 SC engine

Looking at a 1964 SC for sale. The serial number on the case is P8 2425. Is that a replacement?

Is there a number missing after the 8? It would have to be a "1" or a "2".

There have been a lot of "creative" third piece stampings. A picture is worth a thousand words.

I missed the second number which was a 1. Turned out to be genuine.
