I just received and installed my LED light boards from Jim Franzen (CuLayer). Installation and test time total was under 30 minutes and they are spectacular! This is a terrific upgrade and hopefully reduces the chances of being rear-ended by some careless, blind bozo. Thanks Jim!

I was just about to order a set of these.. Is an electronic flasher needed to operate the turn signals?
If so, what is the preferred flasher for 6V?

The CuLayer kit has all the info you need about installation including a recommended electronic 6 volt flasher ($16.99 + shipping), if needed.

After I installed LED kit the flashing rate was a little too slow for my liking so I ordered and installed the recommended flasher, that brought the flashing rate up to normal.

And all electronic flashers are not equal. When I got my CuLayer's a couple of years ago I obtained an electronic flasher from the internet. After some use and time the flasher became wonky so I replaced it with a like kind. This subsequently acted up so I contacted Jim about my problem. He promptly sent me a replacement that he had vetted and has available on his site. No more problems.

Nobody provides better customer service than Jim Franzen!

Me too. The product is great, but the after sales service is even better. Jim is awesome.
