I just learned that Bill Hirsch Auto in New Jersey can supply German square weave carpet with tighter loops.

I got some samples from Hirsch, and the verdict is not good. They don't look nearly the same.

Purchased from Klaus Herman Meyer ( Cabrio.de ). Fine weave.
