356 C brake restoration

#1 Post by Stephen Powless »

New rotors, restored calipers, relined parking brake shoes and new outer torsion bar bushing are all going back together. What's the best source for torque values for these parts?

The shop manual &/or the spec book; Some may not be listed, but may be found in Elfrink's manual.

The shop manual has a very complete section for disc brake restoration with torque values for assembly and attachment. The Spec book, 3rd English Edition drew a blank for torque.
