T5B Super Wheels

#1 Post by Anthony Lembi »

Hello,
I have a 1960 T5B super. The car came with what I believe are three original painted wheels dated 5/60 and one that is a poorly sand blasted chrome 1967 wheel. I read somewhere that all super models had chrome wheels. Is this correct? Or could you order them any way you wanted? It did come with super hub caps. I don't have a certificate of authenticity yet but will order one soon. If anyone knows I would appreciate the help. I don't want to get everything painted and find out it came originally with chrome.

Thanks for the help.

Tony

Chrome wheels were an option and if your car came with them "should" be listed as an option on COA. I say "Should" because there have been errors on COA documented. Painted wheels were standard whether Normal,Super or Super90.
