Front clip

#1 Post by David Stieber »

How can one tell if the car in question has a front clip and should a clipped car be avoided?

Best answer to that question may be a picture. Not a front clip in the total sense but all the bodywork over the chassis. Close inspection reveals the seam welds I made re-attaching the fenders and front body work.
Lots of shiny new metal as well.

If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

Just my opinion but better to have a new front clip than a nose full of Bondo. Butt welded of course not lap welded.
