Charlie's site is down now. Is this a permanent state of affairs ?

The domain name expired on the 4th of October. Maybe the registry could maintain it if the cost is not prohibitive as it is/was a great historical source.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

It would be a real shame if all that info went away. When Charlie was having problems with AOL we offered to let him host it for free on our site, he did it another way, I wish he had gone with us. But I hope the Registry can do something to incorporate the info in the Registry site.
There was talk before of the Club taking over Harry Pellow's info, but I don't think they ever did. I really hope Charlie's hardwork doesn't go away.

I'd be happy to set up and host it and pay the costs for as long as I can if someone can put me in touch with who might have access to the files.

I spoke with Charlie's daughter (emailed actually) and it has been renewed and is now up again.

She told me virtually the same thing that she had renewed the site and it should be up shortly.

She is also selling many of his fine works so members might keep that in mind. I bought the Zenith carburetor assembly book and it is fantastic!

It is such a valuable resource that it ought to be in the hands of the Registry, if Charlie's daughter is willing.

Greetings,

Is the site and the derwhite356@yahoo.com email address still valid? I have sent an email 2 weeks ago with no reply.

I am very interested in obtaining literature for a 356A which I am restoring.

Many thanks, Alexander

Hello,

I'm in the same situation : I've sent 2 or 3 times a request to derwhite356@yahoo.com during the past weeks, but I have no answer

Do you know if he is still providing documents or if I should contact someone else ?

thank you so much
