I've driven in Mexico City (years ago) and I would be afraid to drive even a nice 356 driver there, let alone a concourse car! I can only imagine it is worse today. With 4 lanes going around some of those statues and the guy on the inside lane wants to get off on a "spoke" road it's the car with the loudest horn that has the right away.

We were in Mexico City a few months ago and saw one or two long-nose 911 out zipping through the neighborhood we stayed in. I say drive what makes you happy. 100k is fair for that car, and you will enjoy driving it!

Left side is not working. Either not adjusted but often because the wheel cylinders are swapped top to bottom.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

Replace the rubber brake lines. They swell internally even though they look fine externally. Unless you know when last done do all 4 front and rear at the same time.

Pierre-I have 4 356's (1957 A, 1960 Super cab, 1960 Super 90 Roadster and 1964 SC and I can tell you that the '64 SC is my favorite because of the bigger motor and disc brakes. Just don't pay $100k for a non-numbers, non-concourse car.

Tom,
Slight correction...the SC is not a bigger motor, as they are all the same cc. The SC is simply more powerful, due to cams, carbs, etc.

Re: PORSCHE 356A DAILY DRIVER.
I've been daily driving my 1958 Coupe on and off for 20 years. I live in Florida, so summers are a little hot, but as long as you are driving, the heat is not unbearable. In 2016 I daily drove it 12,000+ miles and in 2017 I daily drove it 16,333 miles. Personally, I think they make great DD's. I don't get why anyone would buy a 356 and not drive it. But I'm from the mindset of driving them, not polishing them. The Registry and its members have been very helpful in helping me keep my 356 on the road. You are in the right place! Good luck in your decision.
