Re: My new to me 356C
Finally got the car back,
I think paint job looks amazing
Been so long that I need to review every single picture I have when I took it apart
I am cleaning up all the parts as I go but so far re used all original parts.

Need help with the interior got a big budget for this part ; )
I was thinking ordering everything form Auto International and go with leather . never done a interior before and I know the top will be hard for me to do it but how hard is to install the kit from them? and how is the quality ?

My carpet kit and interior are from Auto's International. High quality. You might want to have a pro install at least rear seats and door armrests. Dick Weiss knows a good interior shop near Cincinnati,Ohio and I know a good one in Metro Detroit. I am sure there is a shop that knows 356s near you probably. Maybe ask Eric Wills of https://www.willswerks.com or Bruce Baker http://www.bbakerent.com for interior shops in your area. I think that you can send your top to AI and they will install and send back when done.

Hi Antonio, I searched this thread and did not see any mention of using the Precision Matters dipstick thermometer to measure your (oil) temps:

Ron is a big supporter of the Club and his products solve problems unique to our 356's. I have no affiliation, I'm just a satisfied customer of a number of his offerings.

Re: My new to me 356C
Interior order is placed ; )
Getting everything from Auto international , I went with black top , headliner gray and rest all black
The more I put the car together the more I love the idea of leaving all the chromes original showing the age, after little cleaning they still shine
Pile is getting smaller but I am enjoying cleaning up and learn more about 356 ; )
Cleaning , I find Windex and grade 0000 steel wood does miracles on chromes
Sound dealing in the door
Driver door almost completed , the handle gasket were gone I order new ones should be coming soon
Spend all day Sunday on the gauges I found a gasket really bad shape , Its also order
What a fun project
