Re: My new to me 356C
I should have done the holes for the bumpers guards before they got painted
But I notice the holes for the bumper guards are in the back, I was thinking tape where the holes will go first
Then from the back drill with a small bit
Then start using bigger bits until I have oval hole?
or is there any other way to do it ?
These are the holes I am talking about , got picture on line same as mine Antonio

I like the car any color but black is hot for the summer I compared the difference between a black 356 and a white one left in the sun the temp difference was 20 deg.

New look
I was debating about the bumparets but wife really wanted them
After testing the bumpers on it , I actually love them on a black car !
Car looks amazing !
Needs some adjustments but I will do it on the lift !

Car looks fantastic! Watch out when you back out of your driveway with those tail pipes. Mine looked great for about 24 feet..

Re: My new to me 356C
The easiest way to tell a 1964 model from a 1965 car is by looking at the seat hinges. The 1965 seat hinges will have a flat surface. The 1964 and earlier seats the outside of the hinge will have a round button on the center of the hinge. The 1964 seat hinges were a better design.
