sump plate rivet repair

Bill - that copper rivet can be replaced - various vendors that advertise in the Registry Magazine will have it.
You could add a bit of sealer on the new rivet as well.
Also, Precision Matters has a very nice aluminum replacement sump plate with cooling fins on the bottom. It has a nice flat sealing surface unlike the 50+ year old stamped steel originals.

I replaced mine with a Shasta Design plate (info@neutekcams.com) and for the first time in years the sump is DRY!
