#1 Post by Victor Ingram »

Is anyone in the Northeast going to the "DriventoAmerica" show at the Max Hoffman Center October 1st?
Thanks
Victor

Don I am trying to find someone who is interested in towing the 55.
We can meet up if I can get it arranged.

Let me get this straight. You want to tow a car to DriventoAmerica? That sounds a bit like my asking a librarian a few years ago where the Self-Help section was. She said that if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.......

I'm sure you have good reasons for doing so however.

Planning on going but have not heard back from the organization that is presenting it. They want a picture of your car within 2 days of registering. I did and never received any confirmation. I then emailed them again to see and still no answer. Seems to be not well organized at this point. I have hotel reservations as well. George

Just this morning, I received confirmation with specific details to be sent 2 weeks prior to event. My car has Hoffman on the Kardex so I thought it would be neat to attend. George

Beautiful car, Victor. Deserves an enclosed trailer.

Cheers,
Wes

George & Ned

I left a message friday evening and I just heard from "Fran" from Driventoamerica today.
I was asking about trailer parking, it will be available on site and after it fills up, they have
a spot not far from the sight and they may shuttle people over.
She was very helpful, she says so far they have 80 cars registered and they expect twice that.
More promotion is going out through a couple of sources and they are anticipating a great event.
Possibly a couple of race cars that have not seen the light of day for quite a while.
Be patient, hopefully she will call you back.

Hope to see guys there and put a face to the names and see your cars.

I sent the picture of the car in to driventoamerica as they requested I also included the Registration number on the
ticket that I printed through Eventbrite. The number is under the bar code.
Anyway they just confirmed my attendance via email this morning.

You may want to try it this way to get a response.
