Vendor PartsKlassik

#1 Post by Peter Burger »

Has anyone any experience with 'Partsklassik'. I never bought from them. They advertise as air cooled Porsche specialist and I wonder about the quality of their parts, delivery, etc.
Feel free to PM me

Thanks

Peter,
I did not have reason to buy from them, but found them to be a source for something one of my customers wanted. In my contact with them, they were more than accommodating and very pleasant to deal with.
Haven't heard back from the customer who I referred, but I' probably would have if it took a nose-dive.

I have had them do a couple of 911 CDI units for me with no issues very helpful and quick turnaround.

Peter:
Like Tony, I have bought one of their CDI boxes for my 911. Very knowledgable about my problem, and their box is a big improvement over the original part while still looking totally stock. I think they really care about their customers.

Peter,
I have been doing a lot of business with them and I have found them to be very helpful and not trying to get into your pocket.

Peter,
I had a problem with a Weber carburetor and called them for help finding parts. The person that helped me directed me to the illustrated parts breakdown (IPB) on my computer so we could both speak the same language and after about 15 minutes she had isolated my problem made a list of parts for me and filled my order. The repair of the sick Weber was a complete success and there were no left over or unnecessary parts. Great service, priced right.

I have had two distributors rebuilt as well as a pair of Solexes. Beautiful work at a fair price. One of the floats in the carbs later had a leak and failed. Kurt sent me a new one at no charge. First class outfit.
