Rear axle bearing puller
Does anyone in the Portland, Oregon area have a rear wheel bearing puller I can borrow?

Yes Jason , I have something that worked for me. Contact me, maybe I'll stop by this weekend. I still don't have the torquemeister sector gear yet though.

Re: Rear axle bearing puller
Jason you can pull the bearing by pulling the bearing housing and the axle tube. That way you can refurbish tube and axle boot and replace gaskets so as to ensure no leaks for the next 20 plus years. Just be sure not to pull the half shaft out to far and disturb the fulcrum plates although in all the axles I have removed over the years I have never displaced a fulcrum plate but I have heard it does happen.
You may get lucky and find the tool though and good luck with that.

If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.
