Hi all-
I'm helping a buddy sort through a pile of parts he acquired with a couple of 356's and a '68 911. We've been able to ID most of the parts but I've never seen this filter before. Is it for a 912 or something else? There are 5 through bolts that look like they could match up with solexes.

912 part; they finally got decent air filtration with that one.

I remember these ugly carb filters being 'pitched' for the 'wet' mesh version till the later 'dry' filters were desired
for proper filtration--Same thing happened w/the Solex 40mm Super single-throat carbs & changing to Zeniths.
