Hi , I have just bought vin 211148 356 TB 6 1600 super 1962/7
My temperature gauge do not work and I would like to know how to calbrate my instrument. I need perhaps a new temperature sender
616.107.805.01 but an original are 250$..... but perhaps a repro from stoddard for 30$ can be used a calibrated?

Lar, Check are vendor's here on the registry there are two companies that if you send them the bad gauge they can repair it and also match it to the correct sending unit. Some time you buy a sender and it will not be calibrated to your gauge. I have had this happen to myself a couple of times so now I just go to one of them and send the gauge and my old sending unit. When I had mine restored, Palo Alto Speedometer calibrated the gauge with a new sending unit. You could probably have the gauge calibrated with your existing sender as George did.
