I checked the DCR on my horn relay this am. 12 ohms. So, maybe there is a difference between these relays.

Since they have 2 different references, it seems logical that they are different.
The strange thing is that i could not find any mention of "my" relay on the net

It appears so. The general belief to this point had been that the relays were the same.

Re: Factory Fresh Air Blower in T-6 Car, who has one?
Eric, you motivated me to restore my fresh air blower unit.
yesterday, i worked all the day on it.
It was disconnected sometime in the past and wasn't working anymore when i bought the car
I never took care on it as i wasn't aware, that this is one of the rarest option.
Fortunately, the relay and the motor are working fine.
It looks like i have a connectivity problem on the dash controller that leads to a severe voltage drop. I could only measure 2V on the blue and green motor connection cables. I will check this tomorrow
I'm now looking for a correct plug connection 999.652.143.40 because mine is fully corroded and defective. I'm also looking for new silent blocs 644.572.967.00
For the first one, it was produced by WECO (part number 401)
Does somebody know an equivalence for the silent blocs ? In its article, Alex Mestas wrote "Pete Archibald provided me with the 3 re-production rubber compression bolts just like the originals" ....
The missing sticker is available at Stoddard

Jean-Luc,
There are commercially available sound mounts (rubber mounts) that are very close dimensionally. If you want, I can get you the information on the ones I ordered. If you can't source them in Europe, you may be able to order them from McMaster Carr where I got them. If they don't ship internationally, I can order some more and ship them to you.
It is quite possible that you can clean the connectors by spraying contact cleaner in them and inserting and removing the connectors. You may also have to clean the switch contact in the relay itself.
Regards,
Eric L.

These are the mounts I ordered. Very inexpensive. Similar in height. A bit larger in diameter. Correct threads. Part Number: 9232K16

It's been several years since I restored my Behr Fresh Air Blower.
The Porsche part is #644.572.967.00. The threaded portion of the compression bolt is 6mm I believe the stud is 6mm as well.

I could also find a correct connector (WECO 401)
