I will take the RSK Spyder for $5500. You can have the Carrera Cab David.

Today you can have both, I have my 97 boxster with creature comforts like AC. I stepped outside a few minutes ago to go for a drive in my 59 coupe before it got to hot but I immediately turned around and came back into the air conditioning. Too hot and already at 82 with a heat index of 90 rising faster than I can walk.

Doug: Yes you should have bought the RSK because it didn't sell that year. Jim told me that he sold it 7 years later for almost 4 times that amount.

Even at that price my retirement would be more comfortable today if I had bought it. Hindsight is 20-20

Had you bought it, the only difference during your retirement would be an expensive car insurance bill as you wouldn't be able to part with the RSK.

I have a magazine I'm taking with me into the time machine, or I'm just going to get dropped off in my friend's front yard with a bag of cash...

The one I let get away in 1966, easily had the cash ($2,400), but got nervous for other reasons. ('61 cab with a fake C emblem.)

Found these self developed 8x10 photos some years ago in a folder with a self developed pic of my ex. Should have bought the 356 and passed on the ex!
