Where do you connect the red wire with the ring terminal ?
The 356 does not have a separate screw to connect this ring terminal.
The two small screws have conical seats and I think I should not use one of these screws for this terminal.

It can be attached under the nut that tightens the clamp around the battery post. Make sure you clean the clamp very well. It doesn't look like it has been cleaned in a long time. And even more importantly, aggressively clean the negative clamp and ground strap at both ends.

Just my $0.02 but I would just get a new clamp instead of trying to clean the pictured one.
