And Joris is absolutely right. No dates on these early tanks.
Also, $1500 seems a bit high, though yours is in really nice shape. It would certainly sell quickly for half that.
These early tanks are now being reproduced, so I'm sure that will affect prices somewhat.

James, Thanks! As you can see, I'm driving a bit blind here, which is why I put OBO in the ad. Both sons went to the Naval Academy, so I don't need the tuition money! I'm open to any offer!

Cool Wayne. I'm sure you'll be able to sell it. The fact that someone is Europe has decided to reproduce these indicates to me that demand is high. Good luck!

Guilherme - if you attach some pictures, you may get a better response.
Here's a link on how to do many of the tasks on the site including adding pictures.

Re: Gas Tank: How do I tell what year? Value?
Hi Guilherme,
Welcome! Your tank is correct for your car I believe, but these early split-window tanks are not attached with straps. Instead there are two brackets either side of the tank that get bolted to the floor, and they hold the tank in place. The straps on your car have been added by someone - not original to the car. Perhaps someone had installed a later tank in it. The new tanks with straps started at coupe 11361.
See photos below for the brackets and the mounting.
