hi derrick, welcome to the club. i checked out your brick colored car on the bhcc and it looked pretty good to me. i have a c a couple of hundred cars older and i wish mine was in as good of shape. bhcc lists their 356 s and other porsches on the samba and many seem to be pretty rough. the red car is not perfect but with more attention and money, it could be nice. the price, for it's internet presentation looks a little low to me but it seems the market has softened, a little. it's a lot of money, but if you want to something work on, clean, scrub upgrade, you wouldn't have to search for many of the parts. your choice is to find estate sale car which could have languished with neglect or the vehicle for sale by the guy who had the car and made it his baby. That red car does not look to be a fixer upper. it looks like a car that was saw some care. carb heaters are missing, brakes should be made fresh, and the motor could easily swallow $10.000. but you probably know that. good luck
