Looking for '56 Speedster # 82741
If you know the owner, I have the original engine, trans, and drum brakes, and would to reunite them with the car.

Re: Looking for '56 Speedster # 82741
Alex - this is a spectacular offer if the car is still motivating down the road.
Engine number and Trans number can be added to the 'sticky' thread in the Main Topics Forum
Cheers

That also sounds like the main things we all took off a parts car before disposing of the remains.

Yes, all of Bill's info is correct.
I've tried chasing down the ownership history since I sold it, with no luck.
We built a hot rod Speedster for the then current owner, and he didn't want the old parts.
They've been sitting in my garage since, and i'm not getting any younger!

Alex,
What did the hotrod speedster look like and what mods did it have? Maybe one of us will remember it.

It looked stock from the outside.Greg Scallon wrote:Alex,

We installed a 356SC drive train, steering box, and lowered it a little.
Red / Tan with painted 5 1/2" disc brake wheels.
Sweet car.
Retail buyer, then a dealer, then lost track.
