RE: 356C Driver's Manual

#1 Post by Tim Saunders »

Found mint DM for 356C, W 31 e, June 1964 Ed; Printed in Germany 10.64 GI
On page I(Contents), "Contents" has blemish, noted as overprint/offset.
All other Content pages(II-VII) are perfect without blemish or overprint.

Question: Is the blemish/overprint "valued" or not???

Look forward to comments in this regard,
Tim Saunders

Are you looking at a true original or the current factory reprint?

True original, not reprint.

Tim,

About your words, "Contents" has blemish -- I gather the word contents is smudged or something, then I would say your book has diminished value. I doubt it would be like an early airmail stamp with the airplane upside down being worth $ thousands.

Scan that page; let's see the photo.

Appreciate your comments.
I am having problems trying to scan photo, have in phone file, could text or e-mail directly to you if you like.
Thank you in advance to your help,

I would agree with Brad's comment! It probably reduces value
if it has any affect at all.

Charlie
Appreciate comment, from all I can tell, it may be unique, with little or no affect on value.
Thanks!
Tim
