911s seem to be Bahama yellow and the very rare Lilac.

Most likely it is. The 911 brochure for 1973 featured an aubergine Coupe on the cover and was thus popular that year.Greg Bryan wrote:Is that aubergine (sp) on the middle car?
Love the colors! Sadly, today's Porsches seem too reserved--silver, black, white, and perhaps red. Few venture outside of those colors.

Your Turquoise 911 is a nice rare color. What did you use for the sample? I've got a Turquoise '70 911T currently under Bahia Red. The car is a good one and I'll take it back to its original rare color someday.
